POC is well known for their protection product.
I have several POC products now and I recommend checking them out.
This glove is my favorite glove so far.
they cost the same as the giro remedy X gloves and are way better when it comes to comfort & Poc offers protection padding but Giro does not.
because these gloves were actually bit too big(size large) I changed to 2016 Resistance strong gloves(size medium),the palm on some of the gloves worn out, I think this is caused by the material used & the venting holes in them, so far the Index Dh has been holding up OK,but I guess over long period of time they will eventually wear too.
If you crash a lot, and need a durable jersey, POC Flow is a good choice.
if you want soft and super comfortable jersey i would go for the Trail jersey instead, biut for me this is OK.
confortable, the jersey is smoother inside than outside, so it will not be as unconfortable as you might think.
Very Durable,i crashed 2 tiomnmes ( on concrete stairs and on asphalt) with this jersey on and it still looks like new,but i assume if you crash very bad the POC logo might get some scrapes.
no itchy size label
i ordered wrong size but i kept it did not have time to deal with it so i just used it, but one size too small was wearable but not so comfy to put it on, but hopefully i can get some more of these in the right size
Conclusion, if you want durability, the POC flow jersey is a good choice.
the sleeves are long and go past he wrist so your gloves go over them, witch is perfect for me as a rider. The wrist area of the sleeve can fit 2 of my hands but still leave room, when fully stretched.
it stretches in all directions so when you get bigger muscles it will still fit,as you can wearing padding underneath is not a issue, or if you are muscular it won’t be a issue either, but I wear the pads over the base layer,so you don’t have to take off the base layer to take off the pads,
no seams in the armpit, so its very confortable.
Strong propper seams( with cheaper underwear from other brands i had issue with hte thred breaking the first time i got it on, but not with these.
none so far.
Recommended well made base layer that will fit many shapes of bodies and is very comfortable, wit seams in the right places.
the lens protection system does not work as shown in this picture, you can see pro downhill riders using these goggles but never seen one with lens protection on.but sponsored riders got some spare goggles.
The version with dots stays in place good grip in the band, the triple striped grip less.
they are quite comfortable, the Nano-Foam is soft the plastic frame is flexing to fit the shape of your face.
the tear off system does not work I tuck the plastic sense protector inside the gap where the head band goes, and bend it do not get in the way.
lens protector’s hole part rip easily, so I taped it instead of using it as intended.
Just after few weeks the show signs of wear. the Nano-Foam can easily tear apart, mine have issue with the section on my nose, and some on the sides the mesh loosened, but the foam fill wear off on every goggle on the market.
no spare Nano-Foam mesh.
some of the clear coat on the inside of the plastic glass fell off. I noticed it after cleaning the goggles, after months of use it got worse.
it would be nice with a solution that makes it possible to change the mesh with easy thing like if you need to replace the foam you need to order from Amazon or some where else where they sell foam for goggles, but Adidas and sport stores do not sell replacement foam, that wear out, if it does not you are not using the goggles.
the elastic band stretched out on the triple stripe version, so I needed to tighten it more, on the tot version it did not.
The triple striped grips crack.
in hot days the foam will get soaked of sweat and the sweat splashes on the inside of the lens, which result in the goggle stinking after just 1 or 2 days of use.
perfect fitting chamois, not too long not too short.
Velcro adjustment staps
Pockets are in awkward place.
the padding/chamois is not damping as Poc’s chamois i presently purchased,it should bit bit bigger both i the front and the rear.
the shorts are too short to be used in the fall/autumn,winter
Hard to open and close side venting zipper. The side venting is in a awkward angle, so the zipper is hard top close and open. The zipper handle is sliding out of my fingers when I try to close or open the vent.
too short venting zipper, should be longer and on the side instead for perfect venting,so you will get bit too hot in the warm summer days. I now use Poc trail vent shorts and they are perfect when it comes to side venting.
chamois short does not fit well ,private parts don’t stay in place, the elastic band should be bit tighter, should not be as big in the rear, the chamois shorts should be cut and stitched differently, when I wear these shorts they are do not fit as i the pictures,I need to have the elastic bad all the way to the waist.
Too short hood and loop straps:but large is is so bit that to make it tight i need to go over the limit on the straps.
the insides of the pockets can get stuck in the zipper if you are not careful.
the the zippers can get stuck on the inside of the pockets if you are not careful.
I have 2 pairs of these shorts one in large and one in medium, on both the stitching in the middle in the crotch area ripped.
27.05.2016 I tried on the the medium shorts,I have not sopped crowing 100% yet, so they no longer fit my hips are a lot wider
I am using POC shorts in size 32,the Craft shorts in large fits, but don’t need the adjustment any more,I am now 36inches in the hips.
the size large Craft shorts are 2cm narrower than the Poc trail vent in size 32.
I can’t recommend these shorts, because the chamois underwear that is included is too small and thin, I prefer Poc’s chamois.
you are better of getting more expensive shorts,i recommend Poc trail vent shorts, instead because got 2 pairs and i am satisfied with them.
